The 900LB High Pressure Seal Bonnet Gate Valve is mainly used as an opening and closing device on the water and steam pipelines for cutting or connecting the medium in the pipeline. It should be fully open or fully closed during use and cannot be used as a regulating valve. Working principle of power station gate valve: Turn the hand wheel or stem nut clockwise, the valve stem drives the gate down, so that the sealing surface is matched, the channel is cut, that is, it is closed; otherwise, it is open.
900LB High Pressure Seal Bonnet Gate Valve features:
1. Pressure self-tightening seal is adopted, and the two ends of the valve body branch are welded.
2. The valve seat and valve sealing surface are made of cobalt-based hard alloy plasma spray welding, which has good wear resistance and scratch resistance.
3. The valve stem is treated by corrosion-resistant nitriding, which has good corrosion resistance and scratch resistance.

No matter how well the product is made, a wrong thread type will make it useless. You have to determine the thread type before you order. British Standard Pipe fittings are among the most popular of all foreign threads in the world today. These threads come in two versions: parallel (BSPP), and tapered (BSPT). The thread flank angle for both tapered and parallel British threads is 55°. Although BSP is a foreign thread, it isn’t actually metric.
